Mouthwatering Seafood at traditional market

Uma Sari traditional market is located in Jl Nakula, around 800 meter from Jl Raya Legian/Seminyak. The market is ‘relatively’ clean and packed with foreign tourists during night time.

On the left hand side there is a small seafood grill stall called Warung Arim. Everything is spicy, everything is delicious! The seasoning seeps on the grilled fish/shrimp/big clam/squid.
Complete package is available with white rice, peanuts, yummy baliness sauce ‘sambal matah’, and extra spicy kangkung plecing (Lombok way to serve water spinach).
Rp 25-40k per person.
Whole young coconut to wash the burned out feels in your tongue.

If you are not into seafood, there are also meatball ‘bakso’ stall, ‘ayam betutu’ chicken stall, soto ceker stall, padang food stall with sate padang.

For stomach full culinary journey, you can also buy corn (jagung bakar) for appetizer. And drop by in fruit stall for dessert.

“Pasar yang satu ini agak beda dari pasar lain di Indonesia. Tidak becek, tidak bau sampah+tidak kotor (walaupun tidak bisa dibilang bersih juga), pasar gaul karena buka sampai malam dan banyak bule-nya.”

“Dedicated to Lorenzo Pilati ‘un piatto squisito (delicious meal), buon appetito!’ “
